Naruto stood there, staring at the waterfall. He closed his eyes and a fight replaed in his mind. Then he took a deep breath, opened his eyes and stepped through the waterfall.
On the other side of the waterfall was a cave. Naruto walked through the cave until he came to a moonlit cavern. In the center of the cavern was a stone that filled the cavern with a strange glow. The stone swirled with tans and yellows. In the center of the stone was the word Sand.
Naruto gasped. "So it's all true....Gaara!" Then he darted away.
Naruto brust into the room. "Gaara! We need to talk!"
Gaara turned, a bit shocked by his sudden appearance. "Talk...? About what?"
"Your son," said Naruto.
"How could you know about that...he was only born a few..." said Gaara. Naruto interuped him by holding out an old scroll. Gaara carefully opened it and read it several times. Then he looked at Naruto. "Are you sure about this?"
"I found one..." said Naruto quietly.
"Then we will..." said Gaara.
"Yes..." said Naruto.
A deadly silence engulfed them.
"How will it happen?" asked Gaara quietly.
"I'm not sure but at least...we'll face it together," said Naruto.
Gaara nodded. "Will no one know?"
"They will not ever find us," said Naruto quietly.
"So...we will die as we have lived?" asked Gaara.
Naruto shot him a look and said "No...we won't die alone...we'll die with each other."
Akari sat there alone as usual even now that she was a Genin people still ignored her.
Across the room from her sat her two team mates Tisuki and Mikoru.
Akari sighed. "When will he be here? He's never this late!"
"I'm here now," said Kiba stepping into the room.
"What took you so long?" demanded Akari.
"Well...I had to talk to someone," said Kiba.
"Who?" asked Mikoru.
"The 7th Hokage."
"What did he want?"
"He wanted to know if you where ready for the Chunin Exams," said Kiba.
"What did you say?" demanded Akari.
"I told him all three of you where ready...so you better prepair yourselves...the Exams start tomorrow."
Quyen sat there his sensei Temari behind him. He raised his hands in the air and the sand followed his movements. "Who am I? he asked quietly.
"That is for you to anwser," said Temari.
"Temari-sensei?"
Temari looked surprised...he hardly ever called her sensei. "Yes?"
"When people look at me...they're not really looking at me...they don't see me...they see me...as someone else. Why do they see him and not me?" he asked.
"Your father?" asked Temari. Quyen nodded. "You're a lot like Gaara."
"No I'm not," said Quyen. "I'm a different person than he was."
"Your father was a lot like you....until..." Temari stopped.
"His heart died," said Quyen softly. It got quiet. Quyen broke the silence. "What about the sand?"
"What do you mean?"
"Well if my father lost the Shukaku why did it keep protecting him...and why does it protect me?"
Temari sat down next to him. "I'm not sure...only Gaara could anwser that."
"But Gaara's not here," said Quyen. "All he left me was this stupid gourd."
"The sand in that gourd is infused with your father's chakra," said Temari quietly.
Quyen loked down at the sand in his hand and gripped it hard. Then he sighed and let it slip through his fingers.
Suddenly a man appeared next to them.
"What is it?" asked Temari.
The man shot a glance at Quyen and said. "It's time for the Chunin Exams....is your team ready?"
Temari looked at Quyen and emiled. "Oh yes...we're ready."
I've heard some interseting rumers," said Deidara.
"Rumors do not interest me," said the leader.
"I have a feelings this will interest you...after all it's about the Lost Ones," said Deidara.
The leader looked at Deidara.
"Someone found them."
"Who?"
"Uzumaki Naruto,," said Deidara.
"He's dead along with the Kyuubi," said the leader.
"You know why he's dead?" asked Deidara. "Because when he found one of the Lost Ones he also found this." Deidara held out a scroll.
The leader read the scroll and said. "Do you know what this means?" Deidara nodded. "I'll assemble the others...we have a change in plans."
